The FINAL verdict

It is to my understanding that the original idea of kain sekayu are not successful due to several reasons that i'll state later.. I would like to thank the people who bought up the idea during one of our gathering. Meen and me had tried to conduct the ideas it seems that its not working tho. Ok here are some reasons that i personally think are logical and accepted.

The reasons are;

1. The main reason is that the respone for the voting are extremely slow. I guess that would be myself to blame on for not informing u peeps wisely.

2. The price are expensive for some peeps,yes i must say it is for some people i'm sorry for not being able to find a cheaper kain. I know some of u peeps wanted badly to join but the price is too high, i thank u for the thought to join and accepting the idea.

3. Since some of the peeps had already bought their kains and i think it doesn't look nice if some of us use the same kain den some of us doesn't, i guess it shows that concept of berpuak in our language. Inda bisai di lihat nya orang, orang melihat and mulut bergerak. paham2 saja apa maksudnya.

For me the reasons above had already explain enough on why I personally think that the idea would be put on hold. I would like to say Thanx and Sorry for whom i had given them high hopes for this idea. Good Luck with your results and hope each of us wud be a successful teachers in the future.

hai.. hmmm i like the kain wit the abstract design and the one wit yang warna pink pastel..but i think i would vote the kain wit the abstract design. so peeps, start ur voting now.

Gfah has voted the maroon kain on the left from 1st metro btw kris your vote is the kain on the right or left.. yg abstract or flowery border design.. hmmm

Kamu do tell the rest of the gurls about this website, sanang kan cari kain awal so that duit elaun ani dapat menampung untuk beli kain.. hehehehe.. FYI, if u have the time do drop by at the shops mention sal kadangnya the pictures will not give you the full idea of the kain sal ani juz a portion of the kain...

Heya gurl..i wud like to vote for the maroon right side..pasalnya ia nda bnyk bunga,bunga kain atu d bwah saja, so kalu buat baju lawa lah.heheh...+ ada jua unsur2 warna cream ckit tuk match tani punya tudong masa grad..bt if kamu kan mau mlait kelawaan nya..cek it out the metro..ada kana display warna coklat..Fuh...lawa lah..

1st Metro

Seperti yang dijanjikan this is the two pieces that we found at 1st Metro...



Both of the kain is a border design. The fabric for the kain are chiffon and the normal kain. For the first kain (on the left) base colours are marron and earthy pink. The design is an abstract with some flowery detail on it.

The kain on the right on the other hand have a flowery border design. The flower colours are brown, cream and green. The base colour is maroon.

The price for both kain is 4m $32.00 and 4ela $29.20 meaning to say the price for 1 m is $8.

ok peeps please drop by and send your comments. If you guys wanna see the kains up close and personal you can drop by at the shops. F.Y.I we have also visit Kofom, Hong textile, Idyati *spelling* the shop at seri Q-lap , Shimco, Lavanita and Nazmi but unfortunately nothing have caught your eye.. so guys if you can find a kain do tell me so that we can post it here..

Finally i managed to put up a post..
i'll start with this first piece that we found at Silk Shoppe at Delima.
The original prie for this kain is $12 per meter because it is always giving thier customer 20% off the price after discount is $9.50 per meter.

If we decide to buy from them in bulk. The cost per meter would change to $9 per meter. Which gives us $36 for 4m



I'll describe it to you all, the base of the kain is actually a pastel peachy pink colour. The flowers are not really crowded and not too spacey, it is a design created by the owner himself.. the colour of the flowers are maroon,cream and pink.. Btw this is a washable silk chiffon and the normal kain. F.Y.I. We can also purchase the chiffon only the price for both chiffon and kain are the same per meter.


The next destination we when to was Fairoz jaya in Delima. We only manage to find this piece.



This kain is a very colourful piece the base colours are Green, Pink, Brown and Yellowish Brown. It is available in chiffon and normal kain state. The price i'm not so sure. We forgot to jot it down, I think we were so excited to see the colours that we forgot to tag it.. Sorry but i'll search for the price around this week.

I'll post more about the other 2 kains that we found at 1st metro.. till then please decide with one would you prefer as our graduation kain...
